Where the Road Ends: Week 3 & 4

The last time we were able to catch up with our intrepid explorers, they were dealing with a few setbacks. Rich was struck by a car that lost control on the icy roads as they tried to pass him. We are grateful that he only sustained minor injuries and was able to get back on the road a few days later.

Here’s an update from the team regarding week 3 and 4:

Day 13: Cache Lake, BC to Portland. It was Thanksgiving Day and we had 455 miles to get to Portland. Canada threw everything at us so we could stay: rain, landslides and traffic. Wayne appeased the traffic gods with a little “YMCA” and we broke through to clear skies in the US….where we dealt with more rain and traffic in Oregon. But we pushed through to Portland that evening in time for some amazing home cooking thanks to @baccachews and the Mitchell family. Actually, if you want a real summary of what 455 miles in one day driving with sidecars in the rain looks like, see Simon’s face. We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We hope to see you while we’re still in Portland. #wheretheroadends#unstoppable #hellotrouble

Day 17:

Oregon Update

Update from the team in Terrebonne, OR. Thanks so much to the Eastham family and Bonnie Ditlevsen for hosting us during our time in OR! #wheretheroadendsmoto

Day 19: We had a great time spending time with our friend, pro motorcycle racer Shelina Moreda on her farm. We’ll get to milk the cows next time! We also have our new Where the Road Ends mascot that was just born, Simone the Cow! Thanks Shelina! @shelina93racing #wheretheroadendsmoto #unstoppable#hellotrouble #california

At the Dairy with Shelina Moreda

Yup, Simon ate cow food AND saved a baby cow. No big deal. Just a normal visit with Shelina Moreda REV'IT! #shezracing #cowrescue #eatchicken
