Thunder on the Cumberland.

Nashville, TN  (June 16th, 2018)

This was my first race with the new boat in the NGK F1 Powerboat Championship Series. The course was a loop on the Cumberland River between the Woodland Street & Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridges downtown Nashville. A lot of factors put our equipment to the test, it was a hot and humid weekend, we saw engine RPMs well over 8000rpm, and water condition were less than ideal on the narrow Cumberland River with 20 boats on course reaching 100+ mph. I was very satisfied with the reliability of the equipment all weekend finishing every heat and most important that final.  I was happy to see my lap times were improving all weekend and gathered enough points throughout the weekend to finish 14th in my debut race among some of the best F1 boat racers in the country.  I am looking forward to picking up the pace for next stop of the NGK F1 series in Pittsburgh Pa.

If you missed it live you can watch The Thunder on the Cumberland replay on CBS sports July 11, 2018  7:30 PM ET and 11:30 PM ET
