Life Imitates Art

AUSTIN, Texas (April 23, 2017)

First two races… first two wins!  Again.  Even better.  Do you remember the movie ‘Groundhog’s Day’?  Well this is our interpretation of life imitating art as Bobby Fong and the Quicksilver Latus Kawasaki Racing Team…started the season EXACTLY like last year, although the way to end was very different.

Last year was chaotic; this year things were cool, calm, and collected.  Last year Fong was working to get as much seat time as humanly possible simply to get a basic and needed feel for his new bike brand; this year was focused on the minute details needed to win races consistently.

Fong is at one with this track.  So much that he was starting to put the Superbike guys on their heels.  Racing wheel-to-wheel with them all weekend long.  He is so smooth on this track and he is supremely confident.  Bobby and the Quicksilver Latus Kawasaki Racing Team were so strong against the Superbike that he actually podium’ed within their class by placing third.

What a way to start the season; three podium finishes in two races!  Wow.  Ok, let’s hope the groundhog goes away now.
