Frauscher Boats

Frauscher has been turning out amazing boats [OK, Motoryachts] since Englebert Frauscher started the company in 1927.  “Amazing” is our word, but we’re not alone in thinking that these are outstanding cruisers.  Powered by Mercury, of course. Recently Frauscher has won design awards in 2014, 2015, and now 2016 in boat shows throughout Europe.

The motor yachts are available in closed bow and open bow configurations from 7.5M to 14M (that’s 46 feet!), and the line of electric powered boats extends from 6M to 7.5M.  The Frauscher team of 45 constructors turn out 100 boats per year in Gmunden, Austria.

They’ve just launched hull number 2 of the Frauscher 1414 Demon in classic Frauscher dark grey. Hull number 2 is fitted with two Mercury Marine 8.2l MAG HO engines with 430 HP each and features Axius joystick piloting and the skyhook anchoring system.

We don’t know about you, but to us the boating in Austria looks awesome!
