Bassmaster Elite Update: Stetson Blaylock

For QCrew member Stetson Blaylock, it has been a strange start to the Bassmaster Elite series in 2018.

Stetson is looking forward to getting back on the water for stop #3, well stop #2 for the 2018 Bassmaster Elite Series season.  Family time and a Bassmaster Open has been the focus because of the Bassmaster Classic Event and the cancellation of the scheduled #2 stop at the Sabine River due to dangerous condition.  Stetson sums it up:

Not very often is a professional angler at home for over a month in the spring. After fishing in Alabama for stop number 1 in February BASS had to postpone the scheduled second stop on Sabine River due to rising water. Although the break with family was nice it’s great to finally be back on the road and getting ready for Day 1 on Grand Lake for the Bass Elite stop number 2. The next few weeks will be a busy run with 3 events in the next month. Looking forward to time in the boat and hopefully lots of big bass!

The rest must have been exactly what Stetson needed which resulted in 21lb on Day 1 on Grand Lake, placing him in 8th place as he heads into Day 2.  Check out Bassmaster Live to watch Day 2 live weigh-in.
